日記を再開。今日は一人で過ごせたので、ファミレスにこもって開発環境を整え、串カツ田中で晩酌をして、そして久々に日記用のリポジトリを開いた。

書いていない間に色々とあった。少しずつ補完していこう。

大きな出来事は、転職したことだ。たしか6月頃にやめて、9月に入社した。

といっても業界を変えた前回と比べれば、今回変わったのは扱うプロダクトとプログラミング言語だけで、自身の貢献すべき点は変わらない。育休前と同じように好き勝手に働いて、そして楽しく過ごしている。

辞めた会社については、本当にタイミングが残念だった。子育てしながら働きたい私とプライベートなんて気にしてられない会社のミスマッチは大きかった。これまでならそれを改善しながらタフに過ごしていただろうが、子どもができるとすっかり守りに入る。

ちょうどこの前先輩と飲む機会があったが、いまは多少なりとも落ち着いているらしい。ワークライフバランスはともかく、優秀な人材は多くいたので、このまま頑張ってほしいなと思う。

なんで日記を書こうかと思ったかというと、出来事をメモしておくほかに、会社のtimesには書くのがためらわれることがあったからだ。

それはBUMP OF CHICKENのことで、先週からずっと**『THE LIVING DEAD』**を聴いている。正確には各曲のタイトルばかり見ている。30代には伝わるかなー。コピペでなく、キーパンチで全曲打ち込んでみる。

読んでいるだけで赤面している人は、きっと同世代だと思う。「ベストピクチャー」なんて、もう絶対にこの世には生まれてこないワードだし、「続・くだらない唄」も天才的だし、、ここまでくると地味に「ランプ」もヤバい。

そしてこれを「Opening」と「Ending」で挟んでいることで、このアルバムは金字塔となった。椎名林檎のアルバムの「タイトルのフォーマットにルールがある」もそれなりにダサいけれど、そんなのを遥かにブッちぎって『THE LIVING DEAD』はダサい。「ベストピクチャー」１曲で、そのへんのダサいアルバムは皆殺しだ。

そして個人史として重要なのは、このセンスが私の中に血肉として入っていることだ。どれも突き放すことはできず、親戚の家でくつろぐような関係性があるのだ。日記を書きながら思い出したが、私が初期に作ったMIDI曲のひとつに「マインドソルジャー」という曲があることを思い出した（死）。

I bought “Introduction to Rust Language” and had been studying it. As for pronunciation, I could pronounce “edge voice” and felt my throat was relaxed a little.

From Thursday, I went back to home with my baby. I had not study anything in home.

It’s a beautiful day today. I took my baby to the park and we relaxed on the grass.

Yesterday I tried to implement a API client with Rust. I successed to sending GET and get json data. But now, I can’t convert with using Generics.

And today, I’ve learned it and my program progressed.

It was rainy. We had an earthquake two days ago, and Fukushima was damaged much. This rain might cause a second disaster.

I tried to handle Rust in a cloud server. So, I have to end up learning AWS. And I want to learn Rust more, so I will buy the Japanese books about Rust and AWS.

As for voice training. I learned “Edge voide.” I couldn’t do it when I watched the youtube video about it. Before I learned “lip roll” too. I will try to make those my daily routine.

I have been reading the book “Introducing to Rust language” since yesterday. Now, I have read it until Chapter 2. I will study the essential function tomorrow.

And I can pronounce the “edge voice” today. This year, I figured out that I’m not good at breathing. So, I will try to improve how to breathe.

I finished practicing Rust with Exercise.

And this Monday was Superbowl. I was suprised the Chiefs couldn’t get any touchdowns. But you might be sure that Mahomes is the best quarterback as you watched his throw.

Rust practice, I’ve been learning it since a month ago, is going to end. I’m able to implement this smart language. However I can’t occasionally understand why it works and don’t know some useful functions.

I listened to “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. When I have listened to this for the first time was about 15 years old. Then, this song’s rhythm and vocal touched me. However, I couldn’t understand the meaning of this lyric. But I understood it now, and it moved me again.

I finished Rust tasks given by Exercise. I learned how to implement so I’m going to create some simple apps.

You’ve been talking for a month.
It takes time.
Anna, talk is cheap. Just clean your office.
It’s easy to say you’re going to do something. It’s a lot harder to actually do it.

Today, I joined a Clubhouse’s room for the first time. The theme of that room is to practice English. I not only used Clubhouse for the first time but also talked with unknown people. That’s why I got nurvous and feeled stiff in my mouth.

After that, I practiced a pronunciation of “th.” “th” is one of the most difficult pronunciation in all consonat.

I found the way to relax my throat this week.

January has already gone. I feel time pasts fast.

My family took a walk, and my baby boy sat on the grasses for the first time. He pulled the grass and tried to bring it to his mouth.

Today’s lesson was so fun, but I couldn’t understand my tutor so well because I didn’t know the words she used. I think they were not so difficult. I have to remember them.

I couldn’t take today’s lesson because I made a mistake the time when it started. Students can’t send a message to teachers, so I didn’t have a chance to say sorry to her.

What did she say?
She talks about how busy she was going to be.
Yeah, that’s a NO.
Someone who is “Wishy-Washy” doesn’t show strong ideas or beleives about something.
They don’t give clear answers, and they may go back a force about dicision.
“Wishy-Washy” is not exactly a good way to be described.

And it’s correct sentences.

I tried a Rust task, “Wordy.” And I figured out how try_fold worked.

As usual, I have been studying English and Rust.

I realized My English skills got better these days. I can tell them my thinking or feeling though it takes time.

Next goal are belows.

1. Being able to listen to the tutor’s English completely
2. Having more phrases I can speak immediatery
3. Speaking fluently little by little

And this week, the Packers was defeat by the Buccaneers. It might be the worst disaster in this year. I was going to write the review of this game, but I’ve not written it yet.

I learned concurrency today, too. I’ve submited my solution, but my solution with multi-threads didn’t get so faster, rather slower than single-thread. I will have to re-implement next week.

Tomorrow is the Conference Championship. I’m getting a little nervous. If Packers beat Buccaneers tomorrow, they get to the first superbowl in ten years, when I watched NFL and became a Cheese-head for the first time. It will be held at 5 AM, so I must go to bed earlier today.

I’m so depressed. I learned ”gutted” because Aaron Rodgers said “gutted” in an online interview after the game.

I guessed The Packers took momentum in the second half. But they couldn’t turn the game around. Besides, after 2-minutes-warning, Kevin King was called Pass Interference. I guessed that refereeing was not good. I mean, “It was a good call, but it was a bad rule.”

I’ve answered many questions in Hinative today. I explain it in English so that I can learn English too. It’s a win-win relationship.

“I can change myself, but I cannot make anyone change.” It’s my policy. When I hoped someone to change and ask him or her that, it never got a good result.

Moreover, I figured out it is not very respectful because people can decide their own actions. I don’t have the right to make someone change, so I try to focus on what I can control.

It was too cold to take my baby for a walk today. In the evening, it got snow for the first time in this season. If it snows tomorrow, I’m going to get him to watch it. He has never seen snows in his 9 months life.

It was sunny and warmer than yesterday. I took my baby for a walk. He was loved by a convenience store clerk and the woman lining in front of me in the UNIQLO. He had winsome.

I had my wife take care of him in the afternoon. I thought about going to prepare “The beginning phrases when I speak,” such as “That sounds …”, “I’d say …”, and so on. I made a little, and then I tried them in today’s lesson.

In the evening, I bought some appetizers to go in the bar-restaurant I was interested in but had never been to (because of COVID-19). They were a bit expensive but so tasty.

My wife took care of our baby in the afternoon, so I solved some Rust practices.

After I took him to bed, I practiced English pronunciation, especially “flap-T,” such as “water,” “better,” “out of,” and so on. ELSA, the English pronunciation training application, told me my flap-T pronunciation is not correct. But I thought it was decent.

I studied English and Rust this week.

To practice with ELSA and to write and record a daily diary are getting my night routine. I want to continue for a year.

As for Rust, I learned concurrency(multi-threads) this week, but I couldn’t use it efficiently. My mentor is reviewing my solution now, and then I will rewrite and re-submit my solution next week.

The Packers beaten the Rams this week, and they will face the Buccaneers tomorrow. The contents of my diary from tomorrow is depending on that result. I hope to write happy sentences.

I woke up before seven to watch the game, Packers vs. Rams. I love Green Bay, so I was so glad they beat Los Angels Rams.

The offense line was MVP, even though we might miss their playing. They continued to fight in the match. This is why Aaron Rodgers is protected by the No.1 pass rush in NFL.

Another game, Bills vs. Ravens, was held after this game. As well as last year’s playoff season, It was a tough game for Lamar Jackson, one of the best quarterbacks. Some fans might say, “Jackson can’t play in an important game.” He is capable of having a Superbowl ring, but he might leave the field without it in his career.

My baby boy turned 9 months old, and is able to eat harder foods than before. He also got too large for his car seat, so I took off the back so he would have more space.

Today’s playoff game in NFL is two, Chiefs vs. Browns and Saints vs. Buccaneers.

Kansas City leaded Cleveland with over 10 points in the first half, but Cleveland was closing within 1 possession after Mahomes was out with a concussion. After 2-minutes-warning in the final quarter, Browns would get a chance to come from behind if they stopped Cheifs offense. But actually, Henne, the backup quarterback scrambled for 13 yards and completed a short pass, then got a winning first down.

This season’s third match between Saints and Buccaneers was watched by all NFL fans. I expected New Orleans to beat Tampa Bay, but Brees made 3 intercepts - Though, some of them were the receiver’s fault, and They left the field.

Now, my favorite team, Packers will face Buccaneers. Green Bay was literally beaten in the regular season. Rodgers and his teammates now have a chance to get their revenge for their defeat. I hope the Packers will beat Bucs and go to the Superbowl.

I woke up before seven. Because my baby boy did at about six. He usually sleeps little, but today, he was sleeping for over 2 hours in the afternoon.

I tried AtCoder today. I could solve basic tasks, but couldn’t do advanced tasks at all.

At night, I posted a article about the last week’s playoff game, vs. Rams. I will have to write a preview of the Buccaneers game, until the game is held. I will watch Buccaneers vs. Saints at first.

In the afternoon, My family went to the park. We bought some foods in the nearby bakery and had them in the park. My baby ate a little piece of a pain de mie.

I have been studying Concurrency with Rust since yesterday. But I can’t figure out the solution to the sample task. I want multi-threads to share the mutable value. But I can’t implement it like that but create the value in each thread, so it doesn’t process correctly.

The day after tomorrow, we can watch the game, Packers vs. Buccaneers. It will be the best game in this season because each No.12 is “GOAT.” In Japan, They will hold that game at 5 AM. Therefore, I started to go to bed earlier today so that I can get up when the game begins.
